Cagliari

Cagliari is a city rich in history and culture, and this is reflected in its historic quarters.

Divided into four historical quarters worth visiting: Castello, Marina, Stampace and Villanova.

Castello is the oldest quarter and is located on top of a hill overlooking the city.

The area is rich in historical monuments, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Bastion of Saint Remy.

La Marina is the district that overlooks the port of Cagliari. The area is lively and cosmopolitan, and is home to numerous restaurants, bars and shops.

Stampace is home to many historical buildings, including the Church of San Michele and the Palazzo Civico, and there is no shortage of green areas such as the Botanical Garden.

Villanova is the most easterly district and lies at the foot of Castello. Full of narrow, picturesque alleyways, it offers striking views of the city.
